Winners of the 1st Phase of Qatar Equestrian Tour, Hathab Season 6 Announced

 

The results are for the 1st phase of Qatar Equestrian Tour - Hathab.

Day one started off with the Small Tour category, where Mohammed Rashid AL AMRI, and his horse CORNETT DES FORRETS, came in first scoring a time of 57.65. Saeed Hamad JUMAA, on JIROCCO BLUE, took second, in a time of 59.5 sec, while Mohammed Abdulla JUMA rode BLEU BOY to third spot, in 59.83 sec.

The first day of competition ended with the Medium Tour Individual and Team events.

Mohammed Saeed HAIDAN, rode D SAUCEDO, claiming victory in 58.67 seconds. Salmeen Sultan AL SUWAIDI finished at second, with a time of 57.71 sec on FIORI LS, while Hamad Nasser AL QADI finished at 59.82 sec to S I E C LONNIE , finishing at 3rd place. As for team results it was team ‘Al Fardan’ that won in first place, scoring a total of 57.58 sec. The ‘Ajwad’ team came in second scoring 60.14, where the ‘Exxon Mobile’ team finished in 3rd at 59.71.

Day two opened with Future Riders (80cm) action. The category saw Mohammed Abdulla AL MARRI win first place with a time of 47.04 sec on WHISTLER. Kaltham Thani AL SOWAIDI, on LATINO 291, took second, in 46.56 sec, while the final spot on the podium went to Abdulaziz Abdulla ALABRI, KASHMIR, in 48.29 sec.

Next, it was the Future Riders (90cm) category, that saw Noora Batti AL NUAIMI steer LEON VAN'T PRINSENVELD to victory in 46.92 sec. Followed by Mariam Abdulkarim ABED, on WADI RUM D D H, in 47.35 sec. Hadi Mansour AL SHAHWANI on astride SITA, came in at 28.56 sec to take third.

The last event of the day was the Big Tour category. The category saw an impressive performance by Mohammed Khalifa ALBAKER, who rode VERONA to victory without fault,, taking first place on the podium with a winning time of 61.80 sec. Cyrine CHERIF, on I'AM MOERHOEVE'S PRINCESS Z, finished second with a time of 62.94, while Faleh Suwead AL AJAMI on AMBRE DE BEAUFOUR, ended third at 66.42.

The 6th edition of Qatar Equestrian Tour - Hathab, is organized and hosted jointly by QEF and Al Shaqab and features a series of 14 individual and team competitions that are set to take place between September 2022 to April 2023
