LONGINES HATHAB TOUR 6 DELIVERS WEEKEND OF EQUESTRIAN EXCITEMENT

Al Emadi, riding The Toymaker, finished first with a time of 71.50 seconds after a faultless round. Salmeen Sultan Al Suwaidi, took second place on Cantaro 32, while Nasser Al Ghazali, on Quel Homme, finished third. 

The Big Tour podium finishers were awarded by Longines Hathab, Organizing Committee Member, Badr Al Darwish.

In the Open Class, Faris Saad Al Qahtani, riding Godette, emerged victorious in a time of 59.16 seconds. Mirdef Ali Al Qashouti took second place, riding Deju Vu 84, in 61.48 seconds, while Mohammed Saeed Haidan, on Ziezo, finished third in 64.04 seconds.

Sheikh Hamad bin Ali Al Thani, Manager of the Al Shaqab Breeding & Show Department, awarded the Open Class winners and runners-up.

The Dressage Level 1 competition saw Ali Mohammed Al Marri earn victory on Fernhill Friendly Touch, while Maryam Ahmad Al Boinin, on Vol De Nuit Tardonne, took top spot in Level 2. The podium finishers were awarded by both UK dressage judge Oliver Walter and Michelle Grimes, a Qatar Equestrian Federation dressage trainer and FEI Level 1 judge in jumping.

Day one action saw Nasser Al Ghazali take great joy in riding What a Pleasure  to victory in the Medium Tour category in a jump-off time of 33.16 seconds. There was an exciting battle for second place, which eventually ended in a tie. Kamil Sabitov, astride Carmen, and Mohammed Saeed Haidan, on Miss Chilli, both finished their rounds in 33.48 seconds, to complete the podium placings.

In the Medium Tour team event, Al Salam took top honours, with The Top finishing second, and Lusail in third place.

The Medium Tour and team event winners and runners-up were awarded by Organizing Committee Member Longines Hathab, Badr Al Darwish.

In the Small Tour, Ali Mohammed Al Marri claimed victory on his horse, Fernhill Friendly Touch, in a winning time of 31.16 seconds.

Hamad Nasser Al Qadi, on Hugo Z, took second place in 32.40 seconds, with Mohammed Saeed Haidan riding Ziezo to third spot in 33.14 seconds.

Vice Chairman, Organizing Committee Longines Hathab, Omar Al Mannai awarded the Small Tour winners.

Longines Hathab – Qatar Equestrian Tour is organized and hosted jointly by QEF and Al Shaqab, member of Qatar Foundation. 

Longines, ExxonMobil, and Salam International are the main partners of the series, which is open to Qataris and residents of Qatar.
