Jessica Waldon, a three-time Tour dressage champion, enjoyed a victorious start to Season 5, after taking a break last season to perform judging duties. She clinched the showpiece Medium (Level 1) category astride her new horse, San Francisco. Remarkably, despite their fledgling partnership, the duo were perfectly in synch, and their winning combination proved too good for their competitors. Ali Mohammed Al Marri finished second, while Maryam Ahmad Al Boinin took third.

Jassim Al Jaham Al Kuwari, astride Circus, triumphed in the Dressage Prelim (Level 2) competition. Kuwari edged out Asmaa Yasser Mohammed, who finished second, while Jassim Mohammed Al Fahd Al Kuwari claimed the third and final spot on the winner’s podium.

The annual Qatar Equestrian Tour, which will now take place over 14 legs of competition, having been increased from 12, is organized and hosted jointly by QEF and Al Shaqab.

Longines, ExxonMobil, and Salam International are the main partners of the Tour.
