DELIGHTFUL DRESSAGE WRAPS UP TOUR 4 OF QATAR EQUESTRIAN TOUR – LONGINES HATHAB SUPPORTED BY THE SOCIAL & SPORT CONTRIBUTION FUND

Elegant dressage performances provided an enthralling conclusion to Tour 4 of Qatar Equestrian Tour – Longines Hathab Supported By The Social & Sport Contribution Fund 2020/2021, Qatar’s premier local horse-riding series.

The fourth Tour of Season 4 of the popular annual competition was held over three days at Qatar Equestrian Federation (QEF) Indoor Arena. Show jumping action took place on November 20 and 21, while the dressage competition was completed on November 28.

In the showpiece dressage event of the day, Maryam Ahmad Al Boinin

guided Silvan to first place in the Medium (Level 1) category, finishing with a cumulative score of 67.672. Maryam Ahmed Al Semaitt took second spot on Rhythm, while Ali Mohammed Al Marri on Wait and See Ze claimed the final spot on the podium.

In the Prelim (Level 2) category, Khalid Sanad Al Nuaimi emerged victorious on Dow Jones 54 , with a score of 68.676. Ghanim Nasser Al Qadi rode Andreas SPB Z to second place, while Asmaa Yasser Mohammed finished third on Quatro Junior.

For the health and safety of equestrian fans, and in line with national COVID-19 precautionary measures, spectators were not allowed into the arena to watch the dressage events.

Qatar Equestrian Tour – Longines Hathab Supported By The Social & Sport Contribution Fund is organized and hosted jointly by Qatar Equestrian Federation and Al Shaqab, member of Qatar Foundation. It comprises individual and team competitions over 12 legs, from October 2020 to March 2021.

Longines, ExxonMobil, and Salam International are the main partners of the Qatar Equestrian Tour, which is supported by The Social & Sport Contribution Fund (Daam).

Tour 5 is scheduled to take place on December 4 and 5 at QEF Indoor Arena.
