QATARI RIDER SAEED NASSER AL-QADI EMERGED AS THE BIG TOUR WINNER

Qatari rider Saeed Nasser al-Qadi emerged as the Big Tour winner of the second season of the Hathab Equestrian Tour, with Al Salam taking the team title.

Al-Qadi certainly grabbed the opportunity to showcase his talent. He racked up a total of 194 points to top the overall standings after 12 tours.

Al-Qadi’s nearest rival in the hunt for top honours, Faleh Suwead al-Ajami, won the final leg of the series yesterday, but fell 11 points short of Al-Qadi in the overall standings.

Al Shaqab’s Cyrine Cherif took third place overall with 181 points, after finishing fourth in the final round.

The Medium Tour title was won by Qatari rider Jaber Rashid al-Amri, with a total points haul of 197. Khalid Mohammed al-Emadi finished second behind Al Amri on the last day of the final round, and was seven points behind in the overall standings.

In the Small Tour, Qatari rider Mohammed al-Ghazali took home the title, despite not claiming a podium spot in the final round. His consistent performances throughout the season, winning on five occasions, saw him collect a total of 199 points after 12 tours.

Khalifa Abdulla al-Khaldi emerged as the winner in the final tour but ended four points behind Al-Ghazali in the overall points standings for the Small Tour. Mohammed Nasser al-Qadi, with 176 points, was placed third overall.

In the team standings, Salam International Team secured 197 points, which was enough to claim the title. Team Al Shaqab came in second with 194 points, while the Power Steel team took third place in the overall standings with 183 points.

In other results, Jessica Waldon won the Dressage - Level 1, while Mohammed al-Marri emerged victorious in Dressage - Level 2.

In the Future Riders Level 1 and 2 categories, Fahad Abed and Mutlaq al-Hajri were crowned champions respectively
